My little sister has acne around where you get hormonal acne. She is 13 and has it petty bad. Its not herpes. (So don’t say it is cause its acne) She can’t go on the pill because the doctor said it increases breast cancer by 6 times ! So is there anything else maybe natural to balance hormones. Like vitamins, diet, etc. Oh, and it’s not that bad. Just exaggerating.
(I heard apple cider vinegar balances pH levels, will that work?)
Hey,
Im 13 years old and have been having acne issues since I was 11…I never had reallly "nice" skin so yea…But i’ve been on pills once and i had a reaction to the med so im just on oil-free wash and some benzoyl peroxide pads. I changed my diet too and nothing happened…I just want it to go away! It makes me so self consious and I can’t stand that everyone has clean/clear skin and im stuck with all of these zits on my forehead! I barely touch my face and I change my pillowcase and everything! What can I do to make them go away?
PS: If there are any natural home remedies that would be appreciated greatly =]
Thanks,
Ali =]
Sorry im not a good speller =[
Already went to the dermatologist…
hey guys i have pretty bad face and back acne, any suggestions on getting rid of it?
I’m 15 and male so the birth pill is out of the question, i have been on anibiotics before but really don’t like how sensitive they make my skin to the sun. I have tried the natural diet approach as i tried the book "Mr X Acne Says". Lately i have been onto this site http://www.acne.org/ and tried the regimen, but it doesn’t seem to be working much better than what the change in diet did.
I am getting to the point where i am out of ideas, i am reluctant to try proactiv because my friend was on it and his acne didn’t clear up or anything like its supposed to.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Ok well I’m 16 years old, and I’m about to start Tri-Cyclen Lo birth control pills, I know that with most pills you gain weight….that doesn’t bother me so much as the idea of not being able to LOSE weight. I am working double shifts at my job to pay for a personal trainer and I’m seeing a nutritionist and I’m REALLY trying to lose weight, I’ve been about a week and 5 days and I’ve lost about 3 pounds already. I heard that on birth control you can’t lose weight…and I’m terrified of this because I’m working so hard and I want to be fit for the end of the summer!
Is it possible to still lose weight on the pill?
Oh and also I’m taking this for acne, so it’s lower dosages of hormones .
