With so much emphasis on all of the different diets for losing weight (low carb/no carb, low fat/high fiber, high protein, low protein), I was wondering whatever happened to the normal daily requirements and the food pyramid theory? Does anyone know where I can find some guidance on how to just eat a well balanced, healthy diet without having to load up on one specific food group or cut out an entire food group? Just a normal, balanced diet?
