im not over weight actually im in excellent shape but my sister is looking for a good healthy way to shed some pounds . was just curious if anyone out there thought this was a good idea. or perhaps just veggies?

JUST any one thing is never a good solution
the keys to a healthy diet are moderation and balance
you never want to feel deprived when you’re on a diet – she should keep eating many of the things she enjoys, just in smaller amounts – find things that are both tasty and nutritious – yes, they exist (i’d give examples but i don’t know your sister’s likes and dislikes)
also to note, eating just fruit would give you too much sugar – yes, it’s still MUCH better than the sugar in processed foods like sodas and candy bars, but there’s only so much fruit you can have – this is not to say you should cut out fruit entirely – some fruits, some veggies, some grains etc. each day
